Martin Blase is a master silversmith and third generation gong master. He works from his studio in Germany producing artistic one of a kind sound instruments with impeccable workmanship and tuning. As each object is hand forged and heated there are variations in colour which only adds to the uniqueness of each piece. The sound is not affected in any way.
Martin Blase is one of the few gong makers who have developed an expertise and love with titanium. Twice as hard as steel and twice as light it proves itself to be a challenging yet satisfying material to work with. Titanium is unique in that its crystalline structure is similar to water. As we are entering the Aquarian Age, as well as the fact that the human body is largely composed of water, it is no surprise that titanium gongs have a profound effect on the body and is rapidly becoming a material of choice for sacred sound practitioners.
Little Lady is Martin’s answer to a light weight hand held gong. Made of slightly thicker 1.5mm titanium ensures a beautiful sound for such a small gong. The surface is highly polished giving it a rainbowed iridescence. Each is unique in appearance and makes a wonderful addition to your collection.
